Inspirational Sunday/New Title

Hello there!

I've changed my title several times since I started this blog but I've finally found one that I love... the current one: For the Love.

It was inspired by Hunter Hayes Youtube series: For the Love of Music. I love it because he's found something that he's so passionate about and he gets to live it everyday and shows the world the love he has for music. And I think that's the point of my blog: to write, because I love to write, about music every once in awhile but mostly beauty things, 2 amazing things I've fallen in love with in the past couple years. And I don't want to write for a paycheck or for more followers or anything, I want to write because I love it. So hence the title... For the Love

For me at least, finding something that I love to do and making a career out of it is my top priority. Being stuck in a job I dread going to is one of my very worst fears. So right now I'm focusing on that, just finding all of the things in this wonderful world that I love to do and doing them as much as I can, and it's probably one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I know this was a short one but I hope it had some inspiration in it.

What do you love to do? Leave your favorite things in the comments below!

Have a wonderfully inspiring day!

Inspirational Sunday #7

Hello there!

So it's been a crazy busy week which I absolutely love but with so much going on a million things always go wrong and challenges always happen and this week especially, I've been having to figure out how to let go of frustration and stress and let things go so I thought this would be a good topic for this week's inspiration. This is also my 7th Inspirational Sunday which means I've had this blog for 8 weeks now, weird, doesn't seem like it's been that long... :)

This is probably in my top 10 most thought of quotes because so much happens in my life constantly that I have absolutely no control over and it sucks and I hate it but I have to always remember to let all of the worry and stress from these things go. Me worrying or stressing out will probably just annoy everyone and won't help the problem at all.

I had some stress over getting my phone because I stayed up to buy this iPhone and make sure I could get one soon and get the white/gold color I wanted but at the last second (literally midnight) the way to pay for the iPhone was messed up because someone didn't communicate with someone else. I got so annoyed, I was about to call that person and yell for awhile but decided not to. I was frustrated that one person was ignorant and messed it up but it's just a phone, granted I kind of live on my phone, but it's just some material thing that doesn't matter all that much in the scheme of things.

That person is close to me and I wouldn't want them to damage that relationship because of a material possession. I just kept on thinking the next day, collect moments not things. I know that later on I'll have some amazing moments, while my phone isn't that big of a deal. It's so easy to get caught up in all the stress and frustration of life that we forget about all that really matters, hope you don't :)

Anyways, hope you guys aren't as bad as I am and that these 2 edits, some of my absolute favorite quotes, have helped you out in some way. Hope that everyone's as excited for fall and fall week starting tomorrow as I am!

Have a wonderfully inspirational day,
Mia B <3

PS: In the end my dad went around and found the very last iPhone in WA state and sent it all the way to CA overnight, something I'm very grateful for and in a few weeks when the iPhone stock is back up that person is going to buy the white/gold one I wanted and will receive the black one. Which looking back is such a petty problem but in my defense I was more mad that the person hadn't cared enough to tell me the problem and I also thought I wouldn't get an iPhone at all for a few weeks.

Inspirational Sunday #6

Hello there!

So last night I'm so cool that I stayed home with my sister and watched a movie from my childhood!... Like I normally do Saturday nights :)

Anyways we decided to watch Bridge to Terebithia last night which I love but I hate because I always end up tearing up. But through the movie, although sometimes the kids act like they're high, they have these crazy, wonderful imaginations with so much creativity that it's absolutely mental even when one of the parents discourages it. I love to write and I love music, to me they're arts, something we NEED creativity for. My pinterest bio says I live on creativity which I thought was quite clever because I love creativity so much. So today I would like to talk about creativity and how important it is.

This is one important lesson I know I had to learn the hard way. When you are so scared  to try new things that you don't do it, you lose so much in life. This blog might be wrong but I love writing these posts, I love being creative and thinking of new things to write everyday, and I love talking to you guys so much that I've given up worrying about if it's wrong. I just do my absolute best and hope you all enjoy what I write because I do work hard on them all and I love all of the creativity I get to put into my posts and that I get to read in other's blogs as well.

Inspirational Sundays #5

Hello there!

I've been a bit lazy this week writing, mostly because of school. But I also had a PAINFUL knee injury, and this weekend I still went to visit family despite the injury and couldn't bring my laptop, SORRY! However, I'm finally healing and will hopefully get back to my regular routine soon! :)
Completely natural selfie of the day, facially-naked :)

So today I thought I'd talk about school! Our favorite subject! I'm a senior this year and for any school-goers: I FEEL YOUR PAIN. In CA we start school in August... AUGUST. It's ridiculous. But they do make it up later on so it's not too bad. But I know school sucks and I hope some of these back to school tips will help you all!

Supplies
Over the years I've found that on the first day of school You. Don't. Need. Anything! Literally bring a notebook and a pencil... supply wise. With those in every class write down all of the things your teachers tell you you need. DO NOT go out and buy 10 notebooks and 3 binders. You really don't need them. The only thing I promise you'll definitely need are pencils and paper. Teachers will most likely want you to get specific things but you won't know what to get until you get all of these teacher's syllabus. promise.

Homework
This is how I feel about homework, after Junior year, I burned it all, EVERYTHING

Inspirational Sunday #4

Role Models!

I decided to write about this today because of last week's VMAs and everybody's different opinions on Miley Cyrus's performance. So when I was 9 years old, all the way back in 2006 I started watching an amazing show called Hannah Montana. I loved that show so much I never missed a beat. Mostly because I had this huge dream and Miley/Hannah was living her dream, I always wished like crazy that I could've been Hannah Montana. And I'm not going to lie, Miley Cyrus was a HUGE role model of mine. I absolutely adored her.

Seeing my childhood role model do that on stage last weekend wasn't the greatest thing but it's her life and her decisions. I try really hard to live my life in a state of "I'll do me, you do you", which really includes not judging people. I don't think that it was right to do what she did and if I was her you would never see me doing that but in another way it was her choice, her decision, her life and I think that people judge other's lives WAY too much.

Now, just because she was my role model doesn't mean she still is and doesn't mean you will EVER see me twerking anywhere, especially not public television. We choose our role models because they are who we aspire to be. We look up to them because we love them. Now if someone's role model is Miley Cyrus than her actions probably won't change that person that much. They already wanted to be like that, their role model only gave them more ideas.

Personally, my current role model is Taylor Swift because I think she is always kind and graceful and keeps  a wonderful public image, if she started going off the deep end I wouldn't see her as much of a role model anymore and definitely wouldn't start copying her if I didn't agree with her decisions.

I also think that Miley's career is becoming more of a joke to a lot of people but she has a lot of fans who are inspired by her willingness to be who she wants to be and not care what everyone else thinks. Now even though I don't agree with the provocative nature of her performance, I think that this idea/moral is really good and more people should think about it. So many hold themselves back from who they really are because they care so very much about what everybody else thinks. We all do it, even me, promise. It sucks but it always happens and I think that that specific part of who she is and who she stands for is very important and inspiring. However, if I start seeing little kids twerking in public, we'll have more to talk about.

I know this post wasn't pretty or as nice as some are but I hope it was still inspiring in some way or really just made you think in general. What are your opinions on Miley and her performance last week? Leave them in the comments and I will talk to you all tomorrow with a far more pretty and nice piece.

Have a wonderfully inspiring day!

Inspirational Sunday #3!

Hello there!
I'm so incredibly sorry I've been so absent. I've had an insane couple of days but I am back and right on time for my favorite thing ever... INSPIRATIONAL SUNDAY!!! :)

So this week I thought we would talk about stress because I am a very stressed person but I work extremely hard to try and be the complete opposite and keep myself busy but relaxed. And this whole topic is so vast that I'm going to split it up into 2 inspirational Sundays dedicated to dealing with stress and this week is the more negative side of it.

So much happens in my days: family, friends, siblings, school, blah, blah, blah...
It's annoying I know and so many crazy things happen with crazy dramatic people that somehow something in my life is constantly causing me stress. And I absolutely hate it. But I love finding quotes that deal with this kind of thing because they lead me to more positive thinking (which I really like to have) and make me a nicer person to be around in general.

Inspiration Sunday #2!

Hello there!
Welcome to another Inspirational Sunday here on my blog!

Continuing with my LOVE of quotes and the dream, dream, dream post I did earlier this week here, this week's post is going to be about DREAMING! One of my favorite things to talk about.

To start off here's one from Taylor Swift that really touches me because I've experienced pain and I've let it destroy me before but lately I've learned to let it drive me and inspire me to do exactly what she says here: to dream bigger and work harder. having people bring you down and cause you pain is one of the worst feelings in the world but those people that are strong enough to let it drive them are amazing and inspirational. But I think it takes an extreme amount of pain to learn to let it drive you to something better.

Inspirational Sundays!

Hi there lovely people!

So today is Sunday, I'm really not a huge fan of Sundays because if today is Sunday that means that tomorrow I have to go back to school. Not a fan of that either. But tomorrow we all go back to our routine lives with things we generally don't want to do, except for those lucky few who have life figured out and get to do things they love. I'm happy for you if you do, I really am.

But for those of us still stuck in the boring world (SCHOOL) I thought that we could all use a Sunday pick-me-up so I'm introducing... *drumroll* INSPIRATIONAL SUNDAYS onto my blog!!! :)

I really love quotes, I think they are the coolest thing in the world and I continually pin them on pinterest and save them onto any device I happen to have near me at the time. They make me think while inspiring me to help more, work harder, and be a better person in general.

So today I thought I'd share this lovely one with you all...
