Fall Baking!
I know this has absolutely nothing to do with beauty but I love it so you're all going to hear about it. I really love baking, there's something so calming in measuring out things and making something perfectly by myself with some awesome background music that makes fall so amazing. And you know there's just the wonderful end of delicious food, doesn't that picture of pumpkin bread just make your mouth water? My sister has been hearing about it all summer because I only bake in October-January, about once a week, because of time consumption, flavors of the time, and the fact that I usually gain a pound or two eating so much. But when this time does come around I get REALLY excited about it.
In fall I love to use apples for a bit then pumpkin everything, because pumpkin is just wonderful.

Fall Fashion!
HELLO THERE!
Today is one of my absolute favorite topics of the year: switching from summer fashion to fall and winter... It means tank tops to sweaters flip flops to boots and sunglasses to scarves. I absolutely adore my sweaters, boots, scarves, and beanies so you can tell I'm pretty enthusiastic. Although it does mean we're all back in school and no more beach time *sigh* But I still enjoy the fashion and clothes. I live in CA and I swear I have the closet of someone from London. Including about 12 coats, another 10 jackets, and the same amount in sweaters, sweatshirts, cardigans, and jeans. I own more boots than sandals and I'm not even sorry.
These are about all the highlights of my epic fall fashion. More sweaters than I can count, definitely including some cat ones (I know, I'm obsessed) and the Ed Sheeran one which is high up on my wishlist, adding blazers, cardigans, tights and long sleeves to all my fancy outfits, skirts, and dresses. Which does make it a bit harder but I think if the right additions are found, it makes any outfit look twice as good.
I recently became obsessed with beanies and just bought 2, probably going to end up buying more, and I have a couple scarves that I'm excited to add to my outfits, though I do love the bird scarf immensely. I love my jeans but I've recently become a big leggings fan so much so that 3 of my 5 pairs of leggings now have holes, so sad. RIP leggings... I don't own most of these things, just the ones I'm wearing in that middle picture but if I had a major fall wishlist, this would be it, I love everything on here so much.
Onto shoes, you know they say all women are obsessed with shoes? Personally I prefer my clothes more. But, I do really love my shoes. For fall fashion I've acquired 4 pairs of boots, 3 pairs of UGGs the grey and brown ones pictured above and some plain tall black ones. I also have a brown and black pair of riding boots which I do love but I think I prefer my UGG boots far more :)
For sneakers I have some UGG converse looking sneakers and navy blue polka dot Keds. My sis has some converse and Vans that I tend to borrow... for weeks at a time... But I think I still need to up my sneaker game so I pictured my fall sneaker wishlist with red sparkly Vans, gold sequined trainers, and these adorable white converse I've been eyeing for a year now and hopefully I find the money to buy them soon.
Jewelry wise in fall, I like to start transitioning into chunkier jewelry, I am one of those girls with the sparkly gold necklace spelling out LOVE that happens to be all over lately (wore that today in fact). We always start to see huge fashion statement jewelry, usually transitioning from silver to gold (far warmer color for the particularly orange season). Time to put away the studs and grab some hoops! :)
I think fall and winter are such a special time for fashion because we wear so much more and I think we use fashion as a way to tell the world who we are. So wearing so much more, we get to express ourselves more in different fashion pieces instead of the classic crop top and shorts, there are so many more decisions of who we want to show the world we are that it makes all the people who actually care about it really excited.
Anyways, what are your favorite things about fall fashion? (Mines sweaters, boots, and beanies!) Leave them in the comments below :)
Have a wonderfully fashionable day!

Inspirational Sunday #7
Hello there!
So it's been a crazy busy week which I absolutely love but with so much going on a million things always go wrong and challenges always happen and this week especially, I've been having to figure out how to let go of frustration and stress and let things go so I thought this would be a good topic for this week's inspiration. This is also my 7th Inspirational Sunday which means I've had this blog for 8 weeks now, weird, doesn't seem like it's been that long... :)
This is probably in my top 10 most thought of quotes because so much happens in my life constantly that I have absolutely no control over and it sucks and I hate it but I have to always remember to let all of the worry and stress from these things go. Me worrying or stressing out will probably just annoy everyone and won't help the problem at all.
I had some stress over getting my phone because I stayed up to buy this iPhone and make sure I could get one soon and get the white/gold color I wanted but at the last second (literally midnight) the way to pay for the iPhone was messed up because someone didn't communicate with someone else. I got so annoyed, I was about to call that person and yell for awhile but decided not to. I was frustrated that one person was ignorant and messed it up but it's just a phone, granted I kind of live on my phone, but it's just some material thing that doesn't matter all that much in the scheme of things.
That person is close to me and I wouldn't want them to damage that relationship because of a material possession. I just kept on thinking the next day, collect moments not things. I know that later on I'll have some amazing moments, while my phone isn't that big of a deal. It's so easy to get caught up in all the stress and frustration of life that we forget about all that really matters, hope you don't :)
Anyways, hope you guys aren't as bad as I am and that these 2 edits, some of my absolute favorite quotes, have helped you out in some way. Hope that everyone's as excited for fall and fall week starting tomorrow as I am!
Have a wonderfully inspirational day,
Mia B <3
PS: In the end my dad went around and found the very last iPhone in WA state and sent it all the way to CA overnight, something I'm very grateful for and in a few weeks when the iPhone stock is back up that person is going to buy the white/gold one I wanted and will receive the black one. Which looking back is such a petty problem but in my defense I was more mad that the person hadn't cared enough to tell me the problem and I also thought I wouldn't get an iPhone at all for a few weeks.

iPhone and Fall Week :)
Hello all! How are you?
I'm pretty good considering I just bought myself the new iPhone! I invested all of my money into it because I know it will help the blog with it's amazing camera and I'm way happier finally back among smartphone users.
But anyways, I'm happy to announce that next week I'm doing a special theme of FALL WEEK. Posting every single day about all the wonderfulness that comes with the season and I'm determined to make it awesome! Just went out shopping for some of it and I'm way excited for it and hope everyone enjoys it!
But anyways, no huge post today. Just wanted to say hello quickly and announce that because I'm really hoping someone benefits from the hard work I'll be putting into this :)
Have a wonderful day!!!

It's pretty awesome but considering I was using a flip phone for the past 4+ months, this is a HUGE upgrade and I paid for it myself so now I'M BROKE... still completely and utterly worth it...But anyways, I'm happy to announce that next week I'm doing a special theme of FALL WEEK. Binder/Life decoration
Hello there!
Today after my long day at school (I actually got to go home an hour early so not that long) I'm wondering what to write about and decided to show you guys the way I organized my binder because I'm quite proud of it. It really reflects some of my favorite things and large parts of my life hence the life decoration part...

It really reflects some of my favorite things and large parts of my life hence the life decoration part...
FRONT
For the front I didn't want any words because I wanted it to reflect my love of photography along with all of the things the pictures reflect...
Guitar- just my humongous love of music, instruments, singing, listening, the whole 9 yards, also the biggest one because that's my favorite thing in the whole world
Cat on MacBook- this was a 2 birds, 1 stone situation because I absolutely love cats, like I talk about them a lot in my day and Apple products are my absolute favorite though if you've read my other products you'd easily be able to tell. I have an iPad, getting an iPhone tomorrow when it releases and asking for a MacBook Pro for graduation this year. I also really love the internet but there's more on that later on... It's also a really cool picture in general
Stadium- this is an Ed Sheeran concert, one of my favorite artists and songwriters and my dream life, I really love concerts
Beach- I absolutely love going to the beach, even if I don't swim I find it so calming and wonderful, I took this one in Maui last year on my favorite vacation ever where I got to snorkel which I love doing during summer, which I love
Snowy forest- Took this one at my house in WA, we lived in a big forest and it was so much fun to explore around there, I also really love winter and fall, everything about them, I love all seasons but I thought this would be a nice representation of my love of seasons, forest, and snow

Felt Tip Eyeliner Comparison
Hello there!
So I bought some high end eyeliner this weekend at Sephora but I've noticed that the $20 Kat Von D felt tip tattoo liner doesn't work nearly as well as the $9 felt tip L'Oreal Super Slim liner I bought at Walgreen's.
The Kat Von D liner is very precise but the black isn't black at all and it was all coming off after PE, highly annoying and embarrassing. The L'Oreal liner is far more black and stays on way longer, maybe not 12 hours as it claims but a far more reasonable amount of time than the Kat one. Even after PE this morning my wings are still flying (wow that was lame, Mia) but yeah... it's mostly still all there. Hopefully 1 day I can find a felt tip liner that actually lasts 12 hours, it would make me really happy or maybe they do actually last 12 hours and I'm just rough on my skin. Who knows...
My absolute favorite type of liner is felt tip type pen liquid liners. What's your favorite type of liner? Any liners you've found really successful? Leave em in the comments!
Have a wonderful day!

PS: My posts this week have been and will be really short because I'm trying to prepare a special project for this blog next week along with all of the other things going on in my life but I'm still devoted to doing some kind of posts for you guys :)

Sephora Haul!!!!!!
Hello there!
Guess what I did yesterday, bet you can tell from the title but I went to Sephora and honestly this is the first time I've ever bought anything at Sephora. I know, crazy right? But I'm excited to have all of these new things and excited to show you them all!
So I got a CMA, where the makeup artists make you over, free as long as you buy $50 worth of Sephora products, which I could've filled with the brushes alone. I spent quite a bit of money but I've never bought makeup outside of a drug store so this was long overdue. I honestly don't know what my total was, I just had to walk away, didn't even want to know the total and I still feel bad for spending so much money but I love it all so much.

Inspirational Sunday #6
Hello there!
So last night I'm so cool that I stayed home with my sister and watched a movie from my childhood!... Like I normally do Saturday nights :)
Anyways we decided to watch Bridge to Terebithia last night which I love but I hate because I always end up tearing up. But through the movie, although sometimes the kids act like they're high, they have these crazy, wonderful imaginations with so much creativity that it's absolutely mental even when one of the parents discourages it. I love to write and I love music, to me they're arts, something we NEED creativity for. My pinterest bio says I live on creativity which I thought was quite clever because I love creativity so much. So today I would like to talk about creativity and how important it is.
This is one important lesson I know I had to learn the hard way. When you are so scared to try new things that you don't do it, you lose so much in life. This blog might be wrong but I love writing these posts, I love being creative and thinking of new things to write everyday, and I love talking to you guys so much that I've given up worrying about if it's wrong. I just do my absolute best and hope you all enjoy what I write because I do work hard on them all and I love all of the creativity I get to put into my posts and that I get to read in other's blogs as well.

Wishlist Wednesday!
Saw this on 2 other blogs on Bloglovin and thought it would be a nice thing to try... just sharing my current wishlist with you guys. May not do this every Wednesday but I may, let me know if you guys like it! :)
1. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
I saw this in Zoella's video this week on school and believe I saw it in MacBarbie07's too (both on Youtube) and it seems like an amazing idea. After being out in the heat for awhile or if you get naturally "shiny"(oily/sweaty) overtime just throw on a dab of this and it all goes back to matte. Especially helpful since I currently have to go through PE (gettin all sweaty) and live in one of the hottest states in the US, believe we were in the 90's this week, I know I would love a bit of this.
2. THE NEW IPHONE
Can we just all marvel at the beauty of these things right here? They make me so happy. After so long without them I want one now. Like RIGHT NOW. I sold my old broken phones and got $200 for them so I can actually buy them, I just need them to be physically released. NEXT FRIDAY. I really can't believe it. You will find me at the Verizon store that day, even if I have to sit there at midnight, even if I have to beg my mom to let me skip school for a few periods, I'm getting this phone. But as of now it will just stick on my wishlist.

Inspirational Sundays #5
Hello there!
I've been a bit lazy this week writing, mostly because of school. But I also had a PAINFUL knee injury, and this weekend I still went to visit family despite the injury and couldn't bring my laptop, SORRY! However, I'm finally healing and will hopefully get back to my regular routine soon! :)
Completely natural selfie of the day, facially-naked :)
So today I thought I'd talk about school! Our favorite subject! I'm a senior this year and for any school-goers: I FEEL YOUR PAIN. In CA we start school in August... AUGUST. It's ridiculous. But they do make it up later on so it's not too bad. But I know school sucks and I hope some of these back to school tips will help you all!
Supplies
Over the years I've found that on the first day of school You. Don't. Need. Anything! Literally bring a notebook and a pencil... supply wise. With those in every class write down all of the things your teachers tell you you need. DO NOT go out and buy 10 notebooks and 3 binders. You really don't need them. The only thing I promise you'll definitely need are pencils and paper. Teachers will most likely want you to get specific things but you won't know what to get until you get all of these teacher's syllabus. promise.
Homework
This is how I feel about homework, after Junior year, I burned it all, EVERYTHING

Multitasking
Hello there!
So today I thought I would talk about multitasking and having a balanced life because it's something I've worked very hard on and happen to be ok at. I've actually gotten to a point where I can't not multitask, kinda sad. At anytime I'm doing at least 4 different things with 10 other things on my mind but I don't really mind it.
There's a lot of things I do:
And honestly that sounds like so much, and it can be sometimes, but that's kind of just who I am. I enjoy being constantly busy and HATE being bored. I'm quite an odd teenager because I actually really don't like the fact that I have to sleep and will willingly sleep for 4 hours a night as long as I get to do all the stuff in my list (stuff like chores and homework aren't fun but those things I have to do). I love my busy mind and love to do things absolutely every second of everyday.
I love being my current, awesomely healthy weight while being a book worm, posting everyday on Tumblr, and filling all of my extra time with amazingly fun activities. It took me a long time to learn how to balance all of these things and manage my time effectively but I've been so much happier because of it. I think the most important part of this is a commitment to spend all of your time in a way that makes you happy. It doesn't have to be backpacking or reading, just something that you enjoy, making you happy. As long as it's not completely unproductive, I think that it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks of what you do with your time.
And if you don't know what this thing that makes you happy is, GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUTT AND GO FIND IT. I promise you'll thank me.
Anyways, I hope today's post, albeit short, helped you in some way. Are you a multitasker or not?please write in the comments below.
Have an Absolutely Wonderful Day!

Mia's Monthly Loves... August!
Mascara- Maybelline Falsies
While in WA I ran out of mascara the day I had to go to this fancy convention thing and had to hurry and find some in the only Walgreen's for miles. I'd heard so much about this one so I quickly grabbed it and ran. This isn't my favorite mascara ever but it's a really great drugstore one and for the price of it I think it works quite well. The brush is curved oddly so if you use it the wrong way it messes up your eyelashes a LOT but if used right they look pretty nice for $5. When I use this one I always wipe off the brush on the edge of the bottle to prevent clumping which can easily happen. So overall great quality for a cheap price.

Inspirational Sunday #4
Role Models!
I decided to write about this today because of last week's VMAs and everybody's different opinions on Miley Cyrus's performance. So when I was 9 years old, all the way back in 2006 I started watching an amazing show called Hannah Montana. I loved that show so much I never missed a beat. Mostly because I had this huge dream and Miley/Hannah was living her dream, I always wished like crazy that I could've been Hannah Montana. And I'm not going to lie, Miley Cyrus was a HUGE role model of mine. I absolutely adored her.
Seeing my childhood role model do that on stage last weekend wasn't the greatest thing but it's her life and her decisions. I try really hard to live my life in a state of "I'll do me, you do you", which really includes not judging people. I don't think that it was right to do what she did and if I was her you would never see me doing that but in another way it was her choice, her decision, her life and I think that people judge other's lives WAY too much.
Now, just because she was my role model doesn't mean she still is and doesn't mean you will EVER see me twerking anywhere, especially not public television. We choose our role models because they are who we aspire to be. We look up to them because we love them. Now if someone's role model is Miley Cyrus than her actions probably won't change that person that much. They already wanted to be like that, their role model only gave them more ideas.
Personally, my current role model is Taylor Swift because I think she is always kind and graceful and keeps a wonderful public image, if she started going off the deep end I wouldn't see her as much of a role model anymore and definitely wouldn't start copying her if I didn't agree with her decisions.
I also think that Miley's career is becoming more of a joke to a lot of people but she has a lot of fans who are inspired by her willingness to be who she wants to be and not care what everyone else thinks. Now even though I don't agree with the provocative nature of her performance, I think that this idea/moral is really good and more people should think about it. So many hold themselves back from who they really are because they care so very much about what everybody else thinks. We all do it, even me, promise. It sucks but it always happens and I think that that specific part of who she is and who she stands for is very important and inspiring. However, if I start seeing little kids twerking in public, we'll have more to talk about.
I know this post wasn't pretty or as nice as some are but I hope it was still inspiring in some way or really just made you think in general. What are your opinions on Miley and her performance last week? Leave them in the comments and I will talk to you all tomorrow with a far more pretty and nice piece.
Have a wonderfully inspiring day!
