1. THE NEW IPHONE
I am INCREDIBLY excited for the new iPhone. I broke mine a couple months ago, it slipped out of my shorts and long story short the Apple guy told me I had water damage with a $200 fix, much to my dismay. My contract was up so I figured I'd just buy a new one. But I didn't have a handy $200 to get myself an iPhone 5 back then. I finally figured out to sell my old iPhones, a 4 and 4S to uSell and it took awhile but my checks equaling $200 exactly should come around next Wednesday and I am internally screaming.
There's a rumor going around that the new phone is getting announced on the 10th and starts selling on the 20th, so on the 20th you will find me in the line at Verizon waiting to buy my new phone.
The rumors for the new features are mostly general things like better battery and but I am most excited about the fact that it supossedly has a better camera. Not as good as the Nokia Lumia 1020 that I've seen all over TV (which btw I absolutely love and would love to have on the iPhone) but better than the iPhone 5's. This one is supposed to be 13 MP, and to get an idea of what that's like, the really nice camera in my #2 is 18 MP, like most pro cameras are.
I am an internet kid, if that wasn't clear by the fact that I write to people on the internet, I really like talking to people on the internet. In short, I NEED my social media. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, Vine, Bloglovin, and I consider this part of my Social Media too, they're all a large part of my life. So when I do have my phone I'm on it a lot(although I still know how to put down the phone and live), my phone is my child and I am bursting to have a new one in my hands.

Inspirational Sunday #3!
Hello there!
I'm so incredibly sorry I've been so absent. I've had an insane couple of days but I am back and right on time for my favorite thing ever... INSPIRATIONAL SUNDAY!!! :)
So this week I thought we would talk about stress because I am a very stressed person but I work extremely hard to try and be the complete opposite and keep myself busy but relaxed. And this whole topic is so vast that I'm going to split it up into 2 inspirational Sundays dedicated to dealing with stress and this week is the more negative side of it.
So much happens in my days: family, friends, siblings, school, blah, blah, blah...
It's annoying I know and so many crazy things happen with crazy dramatic people that somehow something in my life is constantly causing me stress. And I absolutely hate it. But I love finding quotes that deal with this kind of thing because they lead me to more positive thinking (which I really like to have) and make me a nicer person to be around in general.

Beginner's Guide to Makeup!!!
Hello there!
So the other day I was thinking about how much I've learned since I first started using makeup and had no idea about anything. And I thought that I could help someone out there by explaining everything I know after hours of research and years of experience.
So first off you should know there are several different products that you decide whether or not to use. Very few people actually use every product on an everyday basis.
- Moisturizer
- Primer
- Concealer
- Foundation
- Highlighter and Bronzer
- Blush
- Eyebrow pencil
- Eye Shadow
- Eye Liner
- Mascara
- Lipstick, liner, or gloss
For beginners it may look long, daring, or just plain confusing but I promise it does get easier. I remember starting out with just foundation and mascara because I refused to try things out too soon. But I think starting out slow helped me a lot in the long run because no one wants to be that girl that starts out with their makeup and puts on WAY too much. When you're starting out less is always better.
1. Moisturizer
Some people start out in the morning with this while others like to do it at night before bed. It's more of an optional thing but if you live in a dry climate it's always a good idea. It can help your skin and clear up the imperfections that some of us have to hide.

Inspiration Sunday #2!
Hello there!
Welcome to another Inspirational Sunday here on my blog!
Continuing with my LOVE of quotes and the dream, dream, dream post I did earlier this week here, this week's post is going to be about DREAMING! One of my favorite things to talk about.
To start off here's one from Taylor Swift that really touches me because I've experienced pain and I've let it destroy me before but lately I've learned to let it drive me and inspire me to do exactly what she says here: to dream bigger and work harder. having people bring you down and cause you pain is one of the worst feelings in the world but those people that are strong enough to let it drive them are amazing and inspirational. But I think it takes an extreme amount of pain to learn to let it drive you to something better.

Curly Haircare :)
Hello there!
So today I would like to talk to you guys about hair! Taking care of my hair is probably one of the most annoying things in the world to me. I have this insanely curly hair that never cooperates and is extremely specific. So if anyone else out there has annoyingly curly hair, I have a couple tips that I've found over the years to help it!
My Products
These things are like a holy grail for my hair. My entire life I have cried over having to brush my hair because it's so thick and curly that anyone brushing my hair felt like they were pulling it out. But these make it so much easier.

They're Tresemme Split Remedy shampoo and conditioner which the split end treatments help because I do get them quite often but they make brushing through my hair easy almost like I have straight hair for a second. (Until I get out of the shower) However if you do have curly, hard to brush hair, I would highly recommend these.
I also recommend brushing in the shower after you wash the conditioner out or while it's still in and if you don't want to do that at least brush it wet. Brushing it dry just creates frizziness.
I use 2 other products on my hair. Firstly is the Loreal Smooth Intense Xtreme Straight Crème

Redecorating my bedroom
Hello there!
So a couple months ago I sold off all of my old bedroom set and used the money to buy a whole set. Got this whole modern looking thing going on with a flat screen, full size bed, and couch. And I absolutely love to personalize my room. If you walk into my room now there's a ukulele, guitar picture, violin clock, and personal board of randomness on my walls with pictures of my friends and family (and my cat of course) all over my room.
But now that that's done I feel the need to do more (of course) so I found these awesome ideas on Pinterest (per usual) that I want to try to make/put in my room and/or bathroom. So here they are:
Idea #1!
So I have all of these cords to charge things. I have so many that it's actually getting ridiculous. I have to have a 6 outlet extension in this one spot for:

- my camera (which my little sister broke ):
- and currently the crap phone that I'm using while saving up for a new phone

Inspirational Sundays!
Hi there lovely people!
So today is Sunday, I'm really not a huge fan of Sundays because if today is Sunday that means that tomorrow I have to go back to school. Not a fan of that either. But tomorrow we all go back to our routine lives with things we generally don't want to do, except for those lucky few who have life figured out and get to do things they love. I'm happy for you if you do, I really am.
But for those of us still stuck in the boring world (SCHOOL) I thought that we could all use a Sunday pick-me-up so I'm introducing... *drumroll* INSPIRATIONAL SUNDAYS onto my blog!!! :)
I really love quotes, I think they are the coolest thing in the world and I continually pin them on pinterest and save them onto any device I happen to have near me at the time. They make me think while inspiring me to help more, work harder, and be a better person in general.
So today I thought I'd share this lovely one with you all...

Who Am I? Hair edition
Hello there!
I know the title may be misleading but I promise this is not me trying to figure out who I am or actually a life-related post at all. I want to talk about hair!
For the past few months I've been thinking of re-dying my hair some new different color. I don't know exactly why but I do feel like your hair color sort of changes your personality a little. Not completely, it's just something about a new identity through hairstyles that I love.
Currently, I have brown hair and I had dark blond highlights put in about 2 years ago that damaged my hair and I never colored over them. But they have greatly faded over all this time and people say they're barely noticeable.

Face wash review!
Hello there!
So recently (past year, about) I have started getting a TON of acne. It's really annoying. I've tried several face washes and I cannot seem to find one that works perfectly and takes away all of my zits. But some have worked better than others and I feel like I've tried enough of them to compare them for anyone else who wants to try out a new face wash. So these are ordered from my personal favorite to least favorite.

10 Facts About Me!
My sister (left) and I (right) at Disneyland! One of my few recent pictures with little makeup
So hi, I’m Mia, 17 years old, and this is my blog. I feel like when I’m
reading other people’s blogs I always enjoy it more when I know them a bit
better. Somehow makes them feel more like me or more human, I guess. So I know
this probably won’t benefit anyone personally but I hope you enjoy it!Friday, August 2, 2013
Morning Playlist
Hey there! So I'm one of those people who has to constantly listen to music all day, every day. In the car, working out (of course), in the shower, while on the internet, but one of my favorite times to listen to music is in the morning while I'm getting ready. So today I thought I'd share all the music I love to listen to early in the morning. Here's my morning playlist:
I've never been a fan of Cody Simpson before in my life but his new album Surfer's Paradise is actually pretty good. It's all the normal pop sound but the songs are pretty well written, catchy and most are upbeat and nice to listen to especially in the morning when I'm trying to force myself to get energized.
